The Forum for Polish Jewish dialog produced a short documentary on the first Passover seder held in Irv Kempner’s mother’s hometown of Radom Poland in 75 years. The Kempner Family Foundation sponsored the first school of dialog in Radom on 2011 that enabled so many other Jewish Radom descendents to visit and connect to their parents Polish place of origin.
The poster commemorating the event revealed at the end of the video was sent to Irv’s 94 year-old mom and is hanging in her bedroom in LaCosta, California.
This year on August 5th, thanks to their efforts, on the anniversary of the liquidation of the Radom Ghetto, the city of Radom will unveil the Radom Jewish Heritage Trail marking locations important for the town’s Jewish past.
